Hello, I know many people will disagree with this, but I think it might be something worth considering. I read a post somewhere by someone who stated they had two friends who were dealers and said they were trained to aim for the zeros on the wheel, which makes sense given that they cancel out all outside bets. Despite the house edge, this would seem an understandable strategy to employ. I do believe in the randomness of the roulette wheel, but I think it might be a good idea to bet on the numbers surrounding the zeros, sector betting I guess??? I only gave this more thought when I looked back on my previous times at the casino. I am a newbie and have only been three times yet, but one of the times I was playing the number 9 came up 3 times in a row, which everyone thought was amazing. I recognize the notion of every number having an equal chance of coming up (the randomness), but the number 9 is 2 slots away from 0 on the wheel. I also remember the number 4 coming up 10 times last time. I remember telling my brother I should have been betting it given its my daughters birthday (I believe in luck), but when I looked into it the number 4 is 5 slots away from 0 on the wheel. It seems to me the dealer was capable enough to get close. To give credit to the randomness and luck of the game, I also remember one lady that came up to the table and asked what to bet on (obviously new to the game) and a guy who was betting alot on the inside asked her her birthday. She replied the 19th and the guy said ok and put some chips on 19, and no shit the number came up 19. Noone could believe it (the lady said something about it being very strange and left the table laughing). The number 19 is only 7 spots from the 00 though…
