I have been playing Roulette for 35 years.
I have evolved through many stratedgies and have setteled with 3 that
when used correctly work more than not. My main method is covering 12 to 18 numbers straight up
each spin progressing from 1 to 5-6 chips on each. I now play with $10 chips and on a good session will profit $2,500
That is the most I will ever allow myself to win at any 1 casino. There is an important reason for that.
There are many positive reasons to master roulette. 35 to 1 is the top reason because of that
you can afford to loose a couple spins before you win. That is handy. Also handy and satisfying
is the fact that you pay NO TAXES. $2,500 win is like $3,200. Talk more later
if I see interest here.

You must decide what kind of player you want to be. If you get overwhelmed with the fun of playing
Roulette you probably should just do that and have fun. A pro will never play long term, that is
hours at a time at one table. A pro will be moving from table to table, casino to casino
dictated to by the swing of odds. He may sit at one table and win 3 of 5 spins and cash out.
He may sit at another table and loose th first 4 spins and cash out. He may stay at a table
30mins to an hour as long as he is staying about even or gaining slowly. The point is he lets
the game dictate how long he plays because he has the discipline to walk away a winner.

A pro player will often only play with smaller denominations of chips because winning too
much attracts attention. He always wants to be able to come back and take a little more
so he does not want to stand out as a big winner although he will be at the end of the day.
You would be surprised how easy it can be once you develop your intuition and have some
dependable methods. You may play one day and make $500 in 20mins. The next you may
make $6,000 in an evening moving through multiple casinos extracting small amounts along
the way.

Eventually you must consider security and safeguard the cash. You will be dealing with CASH.
I suggest leaving your winnings in the cage of each casino and returning in the morning when bad guys
are sleeping to go one by one and collect your winnings then using a safe deposit box as your personal bank.

The intuitive part of playing Roulette is the second most important. When playing
you must always be aware of whats happening around you. Be aware of the other players bets.
Be aware of the odd bets that are placed. Many times someone odd will place an odd bet that catches
your interest and many times that bet will win or a connector to it. I cant tell you how many times
I have seen all numbers covered except one and that number will hit. When you look up at the score board
and you don’t know what to bet. Let your intuition take over. There will be personal triggers that you will develop
and when you look at the score board your trigger will tell you what to bet. For instance when I see 2 numbers
in the thirties hit within 4 spins. I will cover the single digits for 3 spins and double my bets each spin for only
3 spins. I usually fare well. In any case you must always have the discipline to except loss. Along with your 3
methods of play these triggers come in handy.

This first method I call “cover and sprinkle”. For example you would
cover2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 then sprinkle 15 18 23 25 35. OR cover
20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 then sprinkle 36 5 8 12 18. OR cover
30 31 32 33 34 35 36 25 26 29 then sprinkle 2 4 6 12 18.

The sprinkle is basically 5 to 8 favorite numbers above or below your cover.
Or they may be numbers that you have noticed coming up frequently or
numbers that you have noticed other people talking about.

The cover is basically just that. You cover a section of numbers.
Singles, Teens, Twenties, Thirties.
This works well especially when cover and sprinkles are hitting.

Method #2 I call “follow the board”.
You simply bet the section of the last number that came up.
For instance if a 23 came up last you would bet all the twenties
and connect 5 more numbers to make 15 covered 17 18 19 30 and 31.

Method #3 I call “cover the color”.
Sometimes the board will show patterns of colors coming up 4 or 5 times
in a row. When this is happening I will bet 15 blacks or 15 reds and catch the beginning
of a pattern and ride it for 3 spins.

These methods have worked for me many years and have given me
confidence when playing through the years. Above all the discipline of
knowing when to walk away a winner is number 1.
There is one discipline you must learn.
I call it “2 and out”. When you have won a predetermined amount
that you are happy with you impose the “2 and out” rule on yourself.
As soon as you loose 2 spins in a row, YOU CASH OUT.
NO EXCUSES, YOU CASH OUT.
Retaining winnings is the key to being a winner.

This game is simple colors, numbers, rows and sections.
The odds on inside bets can be shifted more in your favor
by covering at least 12 to 15 numbers. It takes balls to play correctly
and that may be the biggest problem for those that loose. I do not play
outside bets. You might as well play Black Jack then.

Whatever works for you works for you mate. I’m happy for you if you are up in the longterm. If that is the case I believe you are one very lucky or special person.

Let me explain why.

1) Every spin is an independant event (Does not matter if you change wheels)
2) Because of the above, previous history of spins have absolutely no bearing on future spins outcome
3) Triggers do not work because look at points 1 and 2. Remember the ball or the wheel has no memory.
4) Following colors and betting 15 blacknumbers because Black came out 3 times in a row does not work because look at points 1 and 2, thus gamblers fallacy.
5) Setting a win/loss limit is of no use. If you have a winning strategy it would not matter how long you play. If it does matter you have a loosing method.
6) If you have to use progression for your method to work, then the system or method fails (like they all do). Progression might give you a false feeling of safety. When it goes pearshaped ... it goes pearshaped BIG! And it will go pearshaped. Changing between systems won’t work either. How do you know when to get on the bus? Especially if you look at points 1 and 2.
7) No mechanical bet, money management, or system can or will work, the house has a 2,7% house edge. How do we beat that? There is only two ways. VB or Bias. With physics we can predict where the ball will drop and therefore our bet selection could change the 2,7% house edge to a 20% advantage in our favour. Bias again works because we look for defects in the wheel which might cause certain numbers to come up more than expected (std). Oh yes there is of course roulette computers as well which gives even a bigger advantage if you are willing to take the risk.

You know when you try to think logically and talk about physics you emphasize the
one factor in Roulette that everyone refuses to recognize as a real part of this
game. Your VB and my methods and all systems can all be thrown off with
one bad bounce inside the bowl. Your system has a crutch and that would be the
reliance on average, normal and predictable ball bounce.This fact makes your
method no better than anyone elses. Although VB can sound logical and
convincing the ball bounce fact is unescapable. In addition if a Pit Boss
thinks you are using VB he simply whispers in the dealers ear to reverse the
wheel and vary ball speed or even change to larger ball. They do know how to
recognize it and keep track of all payouts of $105 or more.

That is why I feel my way is better. The intuitive side of the game is what
separates the players. A Pit Boss can not read your mind and does not see
patterns of play that he can combat. Ofcorse he sees betting patterns but
they are based on intuitive thought which he has no weapons against other
than asking you to leave. This is why you use discipline and move from table to table
retaining your winnings and not drawing attention always being able to return and extract
more. In your scenario with a 20-30% advantage you will have a spotlight on you within a few spins
and will be marked forever. So your advantage is actually a disadvantage.

Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City are all perfect places to play my style. Many casinos
close together easy to walk to. Play all night and never raise an eyebrow.
$200 - $500 per table and be on your way.

It is important to “quote” each other accurately when we
discuss Roulette here. People are reading this and may be betting money based
on what we say. I did not say I bet 15 numbers or colors after 3 times that color
came out. I said after 4 or 5 times and most likely 5.

It is true the wheel has no memory. But it is just as true that there are patterns
and tendencies that are unexplained. The score board tells the truth. Just as it takes Luck
for the ball to not bounce erratically for your VB. It takes Luck to get on board the
beginning of a pattern and ride it to profit land, but it is done just as VB is.

People who read about Roulette see the same phrases over and over again about
randomness and the ball has no memory. They need to start thinking about what the
game does do not what it doesn’t do. That is partially what you do. It does have a normal bounce.
It does have an average spin speed. If things work normally it works out for you. If patterns evolve
then things work out for me. Sometimes they change direction and balls and speeds and the ball sometimes bounces badly.
Sometimes the randomness takes over and is dominant and patterns aren’t there. That
is where you need the discipline I have spoken of. Changing tables often, logically has no effect as you think.
As I think, it feels like a fresh start, a new beginning, an extra chance. This theory applies to
many things in life. It applies because it is true. There is truth to there being bad vibes at a table or a dealer
or a casino. Intuitiveness thrives on good vibes. Some will have no idea what I am talking about but
those that do will have the ability to win.

Where I play the wheel is spun CW the CCW. That just does not make a difference. As far as bad bounces go yes for sure we have them. That is why we have scatter charts. Do we play averages? No. If I get scatter pattern of 8.3.2.18.7.3.8.4.3.3.17.2.3 What scatter offset do I use?

The average = 6.23

BUT 3 pockets scatter = 5 times (also 2 pocket and 4 pocket scatter covered = 3)

So do I play 6 pockets scatter because that is the average? Nope I play 3 pockets scatter.  This is off course just for illustrative purposes.

The so-called bad bounce you refer to can only really occur from the frets. (Especially low profile frets) Small balls are off course worse. Big balls are better (referring to roulette off course)

Diamonds have no or very little effect. That is why we play tilted wheels. Before you say there are no tilted wheels around. There are. I think most wheels around has a degree of tilt. So the diamonds are being used as an advantage. Only problem with a diamond (dominant diamond) is where on that diamond the ball hits. If it hits top part of the vertical it pops up if it hits solid it drops dead if it hits bottom of diamond deflected with speed onto the rotor. There are methods to determine where on the diamond the ball will hit too. So certain spins we will abandon and other we will play. The ones where the ball hits the diamond flush are best. Might see those spins are the 3 pocket scatter pattern as well. Get it? So scatter and bad bounces can be controlled by betting or not betting…..allowing fr scatter etc. Even if we have a bad day as long as we have an slight advantage on the day we will win. And we will always have that advantage simply because we decide where we play.

I am enjoying our back and forth Roulette talk. I don’t
usually find anyone to discuss Roulette with that has any
experience or in depth interest.

I don’t know about Europe but here in America if you
take a position at the table you must play every spin.
There is no picking and choosing when you bet. You must
play every spin and bet the minimum at least every spin.
A bad bounce must be accepted regardless. Decisions have to
be made quickly at the table unless you are the only one there.
It is played at a fast pace especially with many players.

I will be playing at a new casino in West Virginia in Sept.
New tables, new dealers, new Pit Bosses. It should
be interesting. It is closer to my home than Atlantic City which is handy but
it is only one casino and that is not conducive to my style of play.
We shall see.

Yes mate the chat is enjoyable.

Here where I play I can make call bets. Three call bets per spin allowed. So I might stand away from the table do my calculation, walk up and throw a $50 note on the table calling a bet for instance No. 7 x 10 which is No.7 and neighbors each by $10.

I’m traveling next week to a friend in another city who found a suitable wheel. Old tited Huxley…..........like taking candy from a baby….

That bet makes no sence because 80% of your bet is
random numbers. Only the 7 was chosen by your VB.
The other 4 are board neighbors not wheel neighbors.
Sounds more like my game than yours.

Hey man.

When you do a call bet it’s neighbos on the wheel. So if I call 7 x 10 That is No. 7 and the neighbors x $10 each. So effectively,
7,29,18,28,12 x $10 each. for a total bet of $50. (Euro wheel off course)

So the dealers there have some kind of system that differentiates between all the
different players making call bets. Seems like it could get confusing. Here neighbors
means board neighbors. There are no call bets here. It runs like a machine, one
spin after the other with couple minutes in between for betting. The only thing
that slows it down is new players getting chips and paying winners.
Here if you want neighbors you put your money on the numbers, that’s it.

Hi Klugmo,

you will see in my previous posts that I mention there are 3 call bets allowed per spin. They have markers with the number and neighbors on them. As you call and put down money or chips the dealer takes out the marker and puts your money on it. Obviously with call bets I cannot now go and call the same number with neighbors cause that has been taken.
