If your a Roulette aficionado, and don’t know the Pelayo family story, your not a true player.

Every gambler knows the feeling, when good fortune comes to an end. When your dream ends with the flick of the wrist or drop of the ball. Each loss draws you deeper into the abyss, and each spin there-after shows you just how deep the hole really is. You think to yourself “How?.... How do I beat this game?’

In 1990, Nelson Mandela is released from jail, the Hubble telescope launches, and Gonzalo Garcia-Pelayo of Madrid- Spain, wanting a change and some excitement in his life, asks himself the same question. “How do I beat the wheel?”... Spending several weeks at his local table, he noticed that certain numbers popped up more frequently than others. He formed the theory we are all aware of now, “Pelayo ‘Wheel Bais’ Play”. He theorized that roulette isn’t a true game of randomness, and was susceptible to the same laws of physics as everything in this world. Things like friction, worn bearing, dealer signatures, improper balancing, unloved base can affect the wheel and make certain numbers more likely to pop up, and if he compiled all action on a table, over 10,000 plays, a biased wheel would show a significant favor towards a certain section on the board.
So he started keeping a record. But to find if the roulette wheel is subject to the laws of probability, or just random, he needs a very great deal of data. to do this, he enlists the help of his son, Ivan Garcia-Pelayo. Being accustomed to his fathers random passion and history of throwing caution to the wind, Ivan agrees. Together the father/son team spend several weeks at the Casino Grande Madrid, hour’s on end, every day of the week they keep track of numbers, meticulously writing them down. Six wheels, 10,000 spins each, 5 hrs. a day, 7 weeks. By the third week, Ivan starts to see what his father saw- a pattern. Being a fairly competent computer guy, he starts to write a very simple program on his computer in MS/DOS Basic towards the end of 1990 on a computer 1/125 as powerful, as the device you are reading this on. He assigned each number a positive or a negative, meaning the higher a positive value, the more likely it is to hit. The computer program they wrote showed that each of the six wheels favored 12 numbers each, on average, which turns 2/3 of a wheel into likely loser’s. This dramatically increased the odds. But they weren’t prepared to risk actual physical money yet, so decided to run their findings against 20,000 selections against an RNG, in short, he confirmed his belief. Some sections/numbers/tiers came up more frequently a significant amount of times, than those on other wheels and RNG simulations. He then, for confirmation had his children, for 2 weeks/ 6 hrs. a day record 20,000 more numbers at the same wheels. More Data, the more accurate the results he thought. This validated his hypothesis.
The House advantage is 2.7%. This means that for every $100 played, the player loses and walks away with $97. But with Pelayo’s results, the odds are the player walked away with $106. Thats -2.7% too +6%
With data and results in hand, he tested his theory. The particular wheel they played, had wear in the area were the dealer released the ball/ a fraction of a percentage of an imperfection on the ball-bearing below the wheel causing thousandth of a degree of wobble, resulting in the “Jue 0” section, in particular, popping up 1/16.5 spins on average over 10,000 spins, (a report 3 years later showed after his retirement and the story hit the press). Before leaving the house he told his children these iconic words:
“If you trust me, and trust the computer, and only bet the numbers I tell you to bet on. If you follow the rules, and are patient, think in terms of weeks, months. Never tonight. Not even tomorrow. You will make a lot of money, and live a life very few young people can afford.”
He drew up a set of strict rules,
1.Roullette and nothing else
2. Talk to no one, especially about the system
3. This is not for fun
4. Do not tip the couriers, this is a business not a charity

And with a bankroll of $2,200, they set off to the Casino Grande Madrid. Betting on his numbers straight up, they suffer a string of loses. But as instructed, they continue, and the wins start to flow in. As they made money, they increased the bets. In the first night the went from $5 a number to $16 per a number. By the end of the week they had $8500, very systematically. And at the end of the month? $120,000… Pelayo says of this time period: “It’s easy to have a bad day, 2 bad days rare. but impossible too have 3 bad days. At the end of the week, we were alway up.” After several months, in the begging of 1992, they had hit the $500,000 mark, at this single Casino. At this point they had a lot of heat from the security officials (one of whom eventually joined the team). And decided to move to a new casino. They went on several cruises, stockpiling data for 4-5 days straight then hitting it hard for the last week of the voyage. At one point, the staff tried to outsmart them by switching the wheels around, but after clocking 10,000 spins they family had memorized the wood grain. In 1993 they had enough to try their hand at vegas. They worked their bank roll up too $12,000,000 before the father had a heart attack on the game room floor. This caused a sudden stop to the most successful roulette family in history.

While Pelayo was not the first, we is the most highly documented, and largest winning. Joseph Jagus in 1873 paid 6 clerks to record numbers for an entire week at the Six Rios in Monte Carlo, he spent an entire evening pouring over the results and went the next day, playing the nine most common numbers. When everything was said and done, he walked away with $300,000, a massive fortune in those days. This feat is not easily imitated. Despite the knowledge that every wheel has imperfections, people also do. Whats more important than the betting system, is the discipline needed to pull it off. Most cave in with the first 4 loss streak, when it would only take a single win to break even.

I have started recording Live play action at a popular online casino that has their roulette table in play 24/7. They use 2 wheels/2 balls and new dealers every 25 minutes or so I believe. This is a fraction of the data recording Pelayo had to do, and even in my few hundred recorded spins I’ve noticed that the “Tiers Du Cylinder” section and the four numbers left of “Jue 0” pop up quite a bit. If you placed three chips @ 8/10/13/7 corner-17/20/16/21 and 25/26/28/29 over the 300 spins I recorded, you would be up ALOT. But 30,000 is the magic number according to Pelayo.
Jim Edward of the Nevada Gaming Control Board is on record saying “Every single Roulette wheel has some degree of bias, one way or another. It’s a physical game, and is subject to the Newtonian physics, just like me and you”.

In short, I want to form a team of sorts. We will pick a online casino, with live play. With the help of anyone who wants in, we will record spin after spin until we have enough data. We will compile this data and see if some numbers appear more frequently than others. I have already begun recording, but after 2 hrs. I become miserable and start mother fucking the computer screen. When we have results, it will be posted. Everyone who contributes will have access to the results and we will go in and hit hard, and hopefully clear house. Things to record :

*Name of Dealer
*Time Checks every 5-20 minutes
*Spin Result
*suspected wheel/ball change
*any imperfections visually in the wheel/veneer that would point to a wheel being changed out
*anything you deem important

Correspondence will be through email, or anywhere our conversations/findings can’t be found in google search. If for any reason you are thought to be an employee of the Casino in question, you will be removed. I intend to compile data in a single week meaning almost every spin will have to be recorded. Since they spin the wheel 24/7, and I hope that this call for help is answered by people in different time zones I think this will be possible.

The Data will have to be analyzed in a very short period of time, so everyone who wants to help will have to wait until the roster is full so we can hit it hard for a week, compile the data as its coming in so we will have a shorter turn around time (1-3 days) and hit it hard on the fourth day. We will pick a date that is good for everyone, and give us time to save a few hundred dollars and hit is hard, in shifts if we have too, and walk away with a nice sum of cash. We can also make the decision to go solo with the data, and have each fend for himself, but we have to decide as a group. If you contribute, you get access to findings, very simple. Everything else we can deal with when we get closer. If successful we may do it again 6 months down the road, but its a huge investment in time for me, not so much for you guys. We will also having betting charts that will be usable regardless of your wallet size.

No roulette wheel ever made, is truly perfect.

So today, I played with my preliminary results. I got lucky and hit several times, $50- $220, then I had a couple bad spins and went down too $175, hit a few more times back too $250, had a dealer change and said fuck it and placed everything on the zero area, because I had found that (randomly) the last 4 dealer changes resulted in zero popping up on the first spin, if I won, it would have been a $2000+ payday. It hit 3 spaces away from zero, or 1 number away from the five picks I put everything on, if you know the wheel. With $50 left I put everything on black and 8/10, hit and doubled everything on black and lost it all. Wish I had the discipline to sit it out, but when I was following the rules and not being cocky, I was doing fine. Sighs… Should have walked away @ my 5X payday, but I got greedy and upped the chip size from $5 too $25. Needed deeper pockets, and discipline to pull that off.

I’m theorizing that the best way to compile the data would be to assign a positive value to every number that hits, and a negative number to those that lost for every spin. A variance of even +100 over 10,000 spins is acceptable perimeters, but anything over would point to an anomaly.  From the info that I gathered from Pelayo, -500/[email protected] is what we are looking for.

prelim #‘s too use assuming you can figure out which site I’m logging.

34
6 27

10
23
8

30
8 23

Any of these 3 numbers has a 2-1 chance of hitting, I would guess until about 1-2pm tomorrow. They are statistically ranked from highest probability too 3rd highest probability. Numbers too stay away from:

5
11

9
19
35

The first set came up only once in 300 spins. The second came up 3 or less.
