Hi everyone

I have been lurking around and watching for quite some time, having delved into different startegies at differnt places now and then

I have a serious question I would like ideas on if anyone can help that would be great

My question is this ; IF you had a way to win consistantly, using a REAL account, playing in REAL money mode, against an online casinos RNG would they eventually notice
AND, if they noticed, would they then RIG the software they have to make sure they ended up winning

Whilst this might sound like a stupid question I ask because, in past lives, that’s what it looked like they were doing to me

However, now that I have what is a very solid method against any RNG (PLEASE do NOT ask for it, yet - I have only been here 5 minutes) I need to know

I have been testing, in real play, @ BET365 and 888, both in practice and real modes. Real is only slightly more aggressive than practice at both places but, my method stil works in unfunded real money accounts and games

If I fund the accounts and begin wagering will they screw me over by changing the RNGS output as soon as I lay my bet or will the numbers stay the same as if I had never even bet

Any helps or thoughts on this would be much appreciated

Cheers

Guess this forum is pretty much dead in the water then huh . . .

The activity on this forum has certainly decreased from a few years ago when tomuen was pitching Project X, and scepticus and the Systemicks were slugging it out with yours truly and the Mathematicks.  (No, those are not rock music groups, though you must admit they are cool names for such.  OK, maybe only back in the 1980’s. confused)  Nevertheless, IMHO calling a time of death is a little premature.

Rather I suggest the lack of a response to your question indicates that nobody really knows for sure if the RNGs used in online casino software are truly random—OK, we know they aren’t, but they are supposed to be “random enough”—or if they include “back door” routines to counter players who win a little too consistently for comfort.  (BTW this is also true for online casinos that use “live” tables and dealers in a studio due to the possibility that the remote player can be shown a spin that was previously videotaped.)  This addresses a basic problem I have with online casinos in general: to whom do I complain if I suspect cheating?  With the possible exception of online extensions of traditional brick-and-mortar casinos (Are there any?) there seems to be little or no regulation of the actual mechanics of online gambling (i.e. how the supposedly random results are obtained), hence caveat emptor is the phrase of the day.

Many posters here have expressed the opinion that online casinos “learn” players’ strategies and take explicit countermeasures against them, but I have seen no credible evidence that such is the actual case.  Remember, in its unadulterated form roulette is a negative expectation game for the player.  Thanks to variance (aka “luck”) players can and do have winning sessions, weeks, years, and even lifetimes, but they are expected to lose.  It is quite possible for a player who has been winning to suffer a reversal of fortune, making it appear that the casino is, as you put it above, making sure they win.  Without physical evidence of rigging, or a spin history showing a large enough disparity between actual and theoretical results to be statistically significant, cheating can be only suspected.

I thought this myself. During free play I seemed to be able to have a lot more wins than when I put an initial £10 and played for real. I only bet an initial unit of 1 pence but it didn’t last long before that went. but during the free play with same amount it was increasing.

Online roulette is also very popular in Australia with many of the internet casino brands directly targeting Australians, resulting in a huge choice of roulette sites available to Australians. CasinoReef recommends Ruby Fortune casino as one of the top online roulette casinos available in AUD. For New Zealanders, CasinoKiwi recommends Jackpot city casino as the most popular choice for new Zealanders playing roulette online.
